DAY 1

Walking Tour

During a walking tour a guide will show you:

• Red Square
 - the main square of all Russia;
• St. Basil’s Cathedral
 - a symbol of Moscow (optional - inside visit);
• GUM – an elegant 19th Century shopping centre
 with a glass roof;
• Lenin’s Mausoleum (exterior);
• The Bolshoi Theatre (exterior)

• Zaryadye Park and its observation platform above the river
• Varvarka Street – one of the oldest and very scenic streets where old churches line up
  
  

A visit to the Kremlin and the Armoury Museum.

DAY 2

In the Tretyakov Art Gallery your persoanl guide will give a comprehensive commentary on the paintings which show the most dramatic events of the Russian history and daily life.

Moscow Metro - the most elegant one in the world - will not leave you unimpressed. The guide will take you to the most beautiful station built in the 1930-50ss.

A city tour by car  with the stops near Novodevichy Convent, Moscow State University, at Sparrow Hills, Christ the Savious Cathedral, Moscow City skyscrapers and other remarkable places.

DAY 3

A trip to Sergiev Posad (50 km from Moscow)

The St. Sergius monastery, founded in the 14th century by St. Sergius as a remote settlement in a dense forest, is one of five monasteries granted the status of Lavra. It is one of the most significant centres of Russian Orthodox culture and it is often called the “Russian Vatican”. From the 14th century this monastery was a place of pilgrimage for Russian people from members of the royal family to humble peasants.
